M.A in Russian Language and Literature, Tartu University, Estonia (the diploma recognized in Israel); the grade of excelling artist recognized by Israel Ministry of Immigrant Absorption.

A certificate of Bancher Jewish Culture Courses (Israel), a certificate of the Israeli Open University course on The Holocaust.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
15 years experience as a librarian including the Estonian Academy of
Science Library, Technical Library of the Marat Corporation (Tallinn),
the Tallinn Jewish School Library, The Tallinn City Jewish Library.
A coordinator for the Israeli Open University.

A freelance journalist.
Member of the Tel-Aviv Writers Club.
A member of the Jerusalem Writers Community Stolitsa.

LANGUAGES:
A native Russian speaker. Fluent spoken Estonian, good English and basic Hebrew.

PRIZES
I’m a St Petersburg’s 300th Anniversary Bounty for Israel Winner (2003). I was elected and financed by Estonian government for creating a Tallinn Jewish Library Database (1999). I was a member of a cultural exchange Estonian delegation to St Petersburg and the publication of my book of poetry was sponsored. In Israel, I have published my book with financial help of Apothropus Found. The book is about Jewish poet Dovid Khnoot.

CONFERENCES
As an Israeli Open University coordinator, I participated in the UNISEF conferences in Moscow and Kishinyov (Chisinau), Moldova, and in a Ha-Sefer seminar in Moscow.
PUBLICATIONS
I have dozens of publications on various cultural matters (including
Jewish life and culture) in Estonia (Molodyozh Estonii, Vesti, Den za
Dnem, Astra, Raduga, Tallinm magazine and other periodicals), in
Moscow (Korni magazine) and St Petersburg (Jewish libraries’ bulletin
Narod Knigi v Mire Knig, Novaya Yevreiskaya Shkola, Ami newspaper), in
Paris (La Pensee Russe weekly), in the USA (Vestnik biweekly, Chaika
biweekly) and in Israel (Vesti and Novosti Nedeli newspapers). I was
also an author of and a contributor to many radio programmes of
Estonian radio stations and, occasionally, to the BBC Russian Service.
I’m regularly published in the Israeli Charm magazine.
